Who doesn’t love tacky hash browns for breakfast? This is largely frozen hash browns with a ton of grated cheese, onions and diced jalapeños thrown in, spiced simply proper and fried until golden brown and crunchy.

  • 30 oz bag frozen hash browns
  • 2 cups chopped onions, 1 medium onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 3-4 cups pepper Jack cheese, grated
  • 3 Tbsp diced jalapeños
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil, divided
  • 2 Tbsp butter, divided
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. In a huge bowl, add hash browns, onions, garlic, cheese and jalapeños collectively, stir.
