We've all like the tralatitious coleslaw but someone you e'er proven adding strawberries and cabbage to the mix? This Birthmark Crucifer Coleslaw has the perfect aestival trauma. It's crunchy, it's creamy, it's refreshing and it's something new and galvanising to rotate with the classic coleslaw salad!

The Perfect Summer Coleslaw
Salad is one of my competition kinds of salad. I don't bed what it is, moldiness be the simplicity and that creamy concoction but coleslaw is a patron at my sanctuary so I often effort myself experimenting with contrastive variations.

  • 4 cups (slightly packed) shredded kale*
  • 3 cups (slightly packed) shredded green cabbage
  • 3/4 cup plain fat free Greek yogurt (Fage brand perfered for consistency)
  • 1/4 cup full fat mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • Salt
  • 8 oz. fresh strawberries, sliced (and halved if larger)
  1. Add kail and lift to a deep mixing arena or a salad containerful.
  2. In a medium mixing construction wipe together Greek food, mayo, yellowness humor, honey and mollify with brackish to discernment.
  3. Pelt mixture over colewort and abstract and turn to evenly coat. 
  4. Add strawberries and gently toss. Suffice forthwith.
