LEMON CHEESECAKE COOKIES

Lemon and cheesecake are two of my favorites. those lemon cheesecake cookies are  delicious cakes in one! Whoa, lemon cookies with a lemon cheesecake filling, oh yeah, to die for!

Ever on the grounds that getting home from my daughter’s wedding I’ve been baking up a hurricane, in among getting again to work and seeking to get again into the groove after being away so long. three half weeks is an extended while to be away from home and my ordinary habitual. the marriage become lovely! one of these lovely couple. My daughter is in the navy and he or she married a Marine.


anyways, on account that being again, I’ve had to get returned to baking and these delicious cookies are just one of the many stuff I’ve been baking. The cookies are outstanding tender and with every chunk you get a bit cheesecake filling. How’s that for deliciousness? also, the gentle, buttery, lemon cookies are included with graham crackers crumbs which offers those lemon cheesecake cookies the complete cheesecake look.

these scrumptious cookies are a really perfect deal with when a cheesecake or lemon craving hit.


INGREDIENTS:
For the Lemon Cookies
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
  • 1 Tbs fresh lemon juice
  • 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup graham crackers finely crushed
For the Cheesecake Filling
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 Tbs sugar
  • 1 tsp grated lemon peel
  • 1 egg yoke
  • 1 Tbs sour cream
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Preheat oven to 350°
For the Lemon Cookies
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, beat butter, cream cheese and sugar together till nicely included.
  2. upload egg, lemon peel, lemon juice and mix properly.
  3. using a separate bowl, whisk flour and baking powder collectively and then add to cream cheese aggregate and mix properly.
  4. cover with plastic wrap and kick back for 1 hour.
  5. Roll dough into 1 inch balls, then roll in the graham cracker crumbs and region on ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. using your finger, make an indentation in the center of the cookies.
For the Cheesecake Filling
  1. Beat cream cheese, sugar, grated lemon peel, egg yoke, and sour cream collectively in a small blending bowl until easy and creamy.
  2. Fill each cookie with 1/2 tsp of filling.
  3. Bake for approximately 20 mins. remove from oven and place on twine racks to cool.
