APPLE CRUMBLE BARS

Apple Crumble Bars ? Scrumptiously spongy and smarmy tumble exerciser that are filled with sexy cinnamon-coated apple chunks. A perfect way to kick-start your season baking!

INGREDIENTS
FOR THE CRUMBLE
  • 3 cups plain/all-purpose flour 375g

  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar 150g
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
FOR THE APPLE FILLING
  • 4 medium apples peeled and chopped
  • Juice of 1 small lemon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour/cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

INSTRUCTIONS
FOR THE CRUMBLE
  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4. Connexion an 8x8-inch tract baking pan with foil or sheepskin essay. Set aside.
